ICELAND, Blue Lagoon

BLUE LAGOON

is a large lake and one of Iceland's most popular attractions. It is situated on the Reykjanes peninsula in southwest Iceland. The beautiful milky-blue opaque water makes a stark contrast to the surrounding black lava field covered with dark green moss. The Blue Lagoon is considered to have such notable regenerative qualities because the water is rich in silica and sulphur.

JÖKULSARLON

is Iceland’s most famous glacier lagoon. It is considered as one of the natural wonders of Iceland. This ice lagoon has become one of Iceland's most popular attractions due to its stunning beauty. The lagoon is called Jökulsárlón, or 'Glacier's-River-Lagoon'.

DYNJANDI

(meaning ‘Thunderous’) is a series of waterfalls in the Westfjords and the largest of its kind in the region. Those wishing to view Dynjandi from the top are able to hike nearly 200 metres up the cliffside. As they do, they will pass the seven individual waterfalls that lead to the largest.

 VIK BLACK SAND BEACH REYNISFJARA

Reynisfjara is a world-famous black-sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, just beside the small fishing village of Vík í Mýrdal. With its enormous basalt stacks, roaring Atlantic waves and stunning panoramas, Reynisfjara is widely considered to be the most beautiful example of Iceland’s black sand beaches.

SKOGAFOSS

is one of Iceland’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls with an astounding width of 25 meters and a drop of 60 meters.  Due to the amount of spray the cascade produces, at least one rainbow is present any time the sun emerges from behind the clouds.

SELJALANDSFOSS

is a waterfall that can be fully encircled, situated on the South Coast of Iceland with a drop of 60 metres. Due to the waterfall’s close proximity to the Ring Road and impressive natural features, it is one the country's most famous and visited falls.
